*Amazing Developer Job (Rails or iOS or Front End)*
We are looking for someone that is either a Rails Developer, iOS developer or a Front End developer. We need them all so we don’t care which, we just want the best person we can find. *Who we are* We are a small bootstrapped and profitable software company based in Melbourne called Red Guava. We love building software and are passionate about making it great. We build a product called Cliniko (http://www.cliniko.com). Cliniko makes life easy for allied health professionals by handling appointment scheduling, storing treatment notes and a bunch of other things too. It is already used globally by thousands of people every day and growing fast. *How we work* We work smarter, not harder. We think work/life balance is important and we work a 30 hour work week as standard (you still get a full-time pay; it’s a full-time position). We have flexible work hours and location is flexible too. Most of us work out of the office in the South East of Melbourne but not all. We would rather hire the best person available, not just the best person within a 10km radius. *The job* You will be working on making Cliniko even more amazing. What you will actually do depends on your skills: - Rails Developer: You will be adding exciting new features to our software, maintaining existing ones, fixing bugs and improving performance. - iOS Developer: You will build a new native iPad app for us from the ground up. - Front End Developer: You will make Cliniko much sexier. You will improve the design and usability. You will also utilise client side techniques to make it faster. If you want to see what you might be working on, check out our feature requests forum. Our client’s posts will give a good idea. *General* Let’s be clear, you need to be seriously amazing. We are a small team and we want to keep it that way. We will offer you the best job you have ever had but we expect you to be super talented. You should be absolutely passionate about building great software, you need to be able to work autonomously (we don’t do typical management, we expect you to see what needs to be done and just do it). You should take pride in your code, you might have framed pictures of your favorite code snippets amongst your family photos on your desk. We are growing at an amazing rate, have not taken funding and won’t be. We love what we do and are simply here to build great software.
