Hi folks, Here's a gentle reminder that the Melbourne Ruby meet up is this coming Wednesday Jan 30th (not Thursday) at Inspire 9 in Richmond from 6pm.
Speakers: * Jack "Chendo" Chen & Charlie Somerville are talking about the recent Rails exploits, Rails DoS attacks etc * Mark Mandel is talking about Getting Started with OpenGL and LWJGL * Steven Falie is talking about starting a local chapter of the OpenTechSchool volunteer organisation * Duncan Bayne on Vagrant and Chef at Lonely Planet There'll be the usual quick round of news and hirings. All are welcome. There'll be Pizza, beer and cold drinks in an awesome venue with the air conditioner cranked. Finally, I think it's time for new organisers! David Goodlad and myself have been doing this for about nine months.
