Hey This came up on the LRUG list and I wanted to forward it on:
> The latest episode of Thoughtbot's Giant Robots podcast has Nick Quaranto of > 37Signals talking about OpenHack. > > http://learn.thoughtbot.com/podcast/36 > > From the OpenHack site (http://openhack.github.com/): > > OpenHack is a meetup with a simple purpose: Code together, on anything. > OpenHack works by hosting a meetup in your city that gets programmers > of any experience level together to code. > > <snip london specific stuff> Given that we do a "themed" RoRo hack night over in Sydney, I thought we could do an "Open" one some time? Maybe setup a listing? Also after listening to Pat Allen's community talk at RubyConf AU, and in particular the questions posed after, it occurred to me that this could be a good way to meet, converse, and hack that's not in a bar (thus less pressure for those that don't drink)? Anyway just food for thought… Cheers Jon ----------------------------- [email protected] jonrowe.co.uk -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
