Hi Everyone, I work for an Australian television production company and am project managing an in-house data management application for one of our shows. Our current developer is unable to complete the project due to unforeseen circumstances so we are look for a freelance or studio to help us complete the app.
The technology we are currently using is a mixture of rails and angular js, rails as the api serving the data to an angular front end built with bootstrap. Search & indexing is power by elastic search with the tire gem and we have rails running a mysql database. Authentication is handled by the devise gem. We are using rails admin to manage the user side of thing. Everything is currently hosted in-house and access is via VPN as security is a top priority. The job is based in South Melbourne, we can provide office space if required or happy for you to work offsite as well. Pay is negotiable we are open to discussion, we estimate the length of the initial contract is around 2 weeks but could be more or less and look for someone to start ASAP. There maybe additional features add after the initial scope of work is complete if you are interested. The job is both rails & angularJs so a solid understanding of both is required.
