Digital Dialogue is looking for 3 stellar Ruby/RoR developers in Melbourne to take our products, including Blix (www.getblix.com), to the next level and help us conquer global markets.
We are a profitable technology company with teams in Melbourne and New Zealand working on business intelligence products, and a digital agency in Perth. We need your help to evolve our products into a highly-scalable and highly available service that can handle growing data flow from thousands of global sources. We track millions of metrics per day at the moment and the number is rapidly growing. We use Ruby, Rails, CoffeeScript, Ember, AngularJS and Amazon services (RDS Postgres, Redshift, Kinesis, EC2 and S3), but we're open to any technologies that can support our growth. We need developers who: - have deep commercial Ruby experience - have experience with PostgreSQL, AWS (EC2, RDS and S3) - enjoy working with large data sets and real time analysis - write well-tested code - prefer working in a collaborative agile environment Bonus points: - experience with AWS Redshift or Kinesis - experience with any of the following: Cassandra, BigQuery, Riak, Elasticsearch, Hadoop - DevOps experience - knowledge and skills with business intelligence reporting and charting - JavaScript skills (Ember, AngularJS) We offer good money, challenging tasks, and fun work environment in our new huge and renovated office in Port Melbourne with Friday drinks and education sessions.
