We’d love to start booking up the year of talks. Everyone is welcome, and speaking at RORO is a great way to improve your presentation skills. We’re going to try and curate the levels of each talk a bit more so you know what to expect before you turn up. During our time running these events we've had a huge amount of fun and have enjoyed watching the community grow in size, to the point now where we reguarly see up to 80 members attending the meetings. Unfortunately due other commitments and life in general getting in the way, Pat and I feel as though we don't have as much time as we used to; to devote to making the meetups the best that they can be. As a result we have decided that now is a good time to step aside and let the next set of organisers take over. Graciously Matt Allan and Gareth Townsend have volunteered to take over from Pat and I. During the presentations meet on the 25th of this month we introduce them and hand over the organisation responsibilities. Due to the number of events we hold each month (A presentations night, hack night as well as a bi-monthly installfest) there is room for more people to help out each month. So if you have some spare time to help out the organisers, then please speak with Matt or Gareth this month at the presentations meet.
