We launched our business earlier in the year. We are a national online interior design and furniture advice service. Customers can use our service to ask interior design or furniture questions online - such as 'what couch would suit my living room' - and receive options with shopping/supplier info, or they can get a plan for a mini or full overhaul of a room with all new furniture and set up. We have a team of interior designers and stylists throughout Aus who pick up jobs when they come through our online jobs board. They respond using templates we have built into the back end of our site. Our business model is a new offering in Australia, where typically interior design is an offline service that takes a lot more time and money for the customer. Taking it online and making it much more customer-centric is increasingly happening overseas, including via this US site: https://www.laurelandwolf.com/ In terms of the work we need done: Our site was built by a ROR developer based in NZ. He did a great job (we think!) but he does not have capacity to do the updates that we need to our site, which are mainly: - adding another panel to the home page to bring the before/after pics on the before/after page forward and kill that page. This would need to work responsively. - adding a 'save and return to order' function to our online order process (currently if a customer starts an order and then leaves, they have to start all over again when returning to our site) - a few other small things We are happy for the developer doing this work to be based anywhere really, but would prefer an English (as first language) speaking country, just for ease of conveying what we need. I think the work would be about three days all up. In terms of pay, we are offering $1200 (ex GST). Please don't hesitate to contact me privately with any questions about this work.
