Hi, Rails Girls is coming back to Melbourne on October 16 & 17, and we need your help! http://railsgirls.com/melbourne
Rails Girls is an event designed to help women get into tech, by coding up an app in a friendly, fun environment supported by coaches. It's an opportunity to learn about web development techniques, dabble in technology, and build a basic Ruby on Rails app. Check the video at http:// railsgirls.com for a flavour. Rails Girls takes place over a Friday evening and Saturday. If you know Rails well enough to teach others, we'd love to get your help with coaching. Please also help us to spread the word! Tell your friends, family, colleagues, tweet us or share in your Slack groups, meet ups, notice boards ... Experience doesn't matter, anybody who wants to give it a go is very welcome! Register here (coaches and attendees) or drop me an email if you have any questions. https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/rails-girls-melbourne-tickets-18583884900 Thanks and hope to see some of you there :) -- Jo Cranford Skype jocranford AU: +61 428 190 881 Chronicling my adventures in Oz at *http://www.beachesbarbiesandbogans.com/ <http://www.beachesbarbiesandbogans.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
