Hi, we’re looking for a Ruby on Rails developer with 2+ years development
experience to join our team on Bluethumb to help continue to improve our
online art marketplace.

*About Bluethumb*

Bluethumb is Australia’s leading online art marketplace, disrupting the
traditional gallery system by allowing Australian artists to sell their art
directly to buyers. Art lovers can unearth original one-off artworks at
affordable prices.

Unlike other online galleries, Bluethumb connects Australian artists with
Australian art lovers on an equal platform. Any artist can quickly set up a
gallery page and sell on their site, so they have some of the
best-established artists in the business exhibiting alongside complete
newcomers to the scene with everything in between.

We’re super focused on technology, design and innovation in the art world.
In 2014, The Bluethumb – art unearthed app was awarded Best Shopping App in
the Australian Mobile & App Design Awards, recently we’ve been featured in
The Age, Techworld, SMH, ArtsHub, Australian Financial Review and recently
took investment from the founders of one of Australia’s largest ecom
players Aussie Commerce. We relaunched bluethumb.com.au late last year and
we’re currently growing at 20% month on month.

We’re a friendly team of 7 art and technology enthusiasts, and a Jack
Russel called Grungle.
