I am the founder of a hobbies teaching start up. I am looking for Tech Co-founder who is based in Sydney or is willing to make the move for the role. The site will be launched in 3 weeks. I am located in Sydney so would prefer to meet in person to discuss. The role offers a 25-30% equity through vesting arrangement and annual salary of $80,000 plus super. *Criteria of the Tech Co-founder* - Having one year experience as head of technology in leading best practice technology teams across mobile/social/e-commerce/payments/platforms. - Passionate about startups and share the same vision with the company. - In-depth knowledge of and experience in fast experience in fast growth businesses and/or start-up environments with the ability to think on your feet and get things done. - Extensive commercial/strategic experience at an executive level with the confidence to communicate a vision for technology to internal and external stakeholders and how it can address business outcomes. - Understand and preferably code on ruby on rails platform. *Some of the responsibilities * - Define and develop a vision for the organization's IT infrastructure road-map and the steps required in line with the strategic growth agenda. - Manage vendor relationships including negotiating the terms and conditions with external vendors. - Build and lead a technology team capable of achieving consistent outcomes and scale.
