I was also thinking about packing the libs somehow as they are rather large.  The unpacked versions for development are fine, but it'd be nice to just run a script in a production environment to pack the libs down each time an upgrade of the libs are performed.  I see that packer is also available as a perl script so that would be useful to remove the manual process of making the packed version each time.  Link to the perl script from here for anybody interested http://dean.edwards.name/download/#packer.

thanks

Maybe I'm anal but I like fat-free JS, so I pulled the Proptotype and core Scriptaculous files into one single JS file at 49Kb.

It's "packed" so if you care about that kind of thing, it's also "obfuscated".

Download from my personal site at www.alistercameron.com.

PS. Of course this is the current version as posted on the Scriptaculous site.
