How many? Easy! None for Ubuntu. Firefox 1.0.7 is the latest
supported release unless you want to jump through hoops and potentially
break other packages or install software outside of the package manager,

which means that you don't get security updates. Firefox's built-in
Updates system has never worked for me on Linux.

Fortunately, Ubuntu 6.04 is right around the corner and should include
Firefox 1.5.x.
