Firefox has a
page-load progress indicator in the bottom right of the status
bar.
Why would it
flash briefly when I hover over my navigation links? there is an
onMouseOver event which changes the image, so I guess that's a page-load
progress.
It seems like a new
side-effect. I think I would have seen it before.
