I have a similar requirement Chris. I am using using Rampart with Axis2, so I tackled it by putting a handler in the Axis2 flow. This must be a relatively common requirement though with X509. I'm not sure of the process for suggestions on open-source development, but perhaps this can be added to it. Regards, David
