*I know it may sound strange..
But cut me some slack as I run through this thought..
I'm a Wilderness Member, next vigil campsight over
from Jerry 2face Flory 'o Norte Californo...
In the middle of the night... some "brothers" wandered into my camp
to release me from a vow of silence and have me reply to a question:
Why am I here?

They let me ponder that an hour or three.. while I did my
Wilderness duties ect. I was 900 miles from home.. I had
my family camped in a cow pasture with flies everywhere and
had about burned up my Jeep try'n to make it down I-5 non-stop.
I was camped in a hillside of poison oak and wondered at the
reason for being there myself<G> I began to think about my
Outpost and the boys, my son and my Dad sitt'n in his big
easy chair lost in the memories of another time.
It felt like a "combat mission" and then It came to me..
I was there.. for the "Missing in Action"
*Not everyone is a shineing star, or FCF from the get-go..
The "meaning" of FCF had to be real for each who came, with
the same "call" to somehow give back as much blessing as you
take from Royal Rangers. But along the Buckskin way.. we have
left many behind...
*The "Lost" in FCF is our brothers...
We need to welcome the pilgrims back, lay out the Buffler
robes extend the hand 'O fellership and pass the knog'n
filled with cool clear water,and ask them to tell their tales.
