Ponder with me the situation.. Currenty the media are stunned and adopting a "wolf" mode looking for any shred of news to exploit. This is in fact a un-healthy situation to watch. I "think" (and like Clint admit to be no-one of import<G>) that yesterdays attacks are over, and the result of a small group of radical infidels and political fanatics. So far any "nation- state" has been clear to make sure they are not labled as the author of yesterdays attack.. But when interviewing US Gov. official's such as Sec. of State Colin Powell, John Mc Cain and the President watch for the shift of verbage to indicate a state of "War" and the associated political maneuvering to build a International collilition simular to the recent Gulf War. The US responce will be slow, long and multi-phased beyond a strike. Current media is able to communicate instantly the intentions and reactions to the violence of yesterday. I would look for messages to be sent via the media to those responsible that may seem out of character to the flow of normal news. *Some of the key words I have heard today are: "Everything is now changed" "A clear act of War" "Cowardy act" *Some actions I saw yesterday are: Americans huddled around the TV The lack of aircraft in the skys Mail stoppage, and national communication being shut down Increased Security of public places. As I drove home from work last night, on an overpass was a small boy and his dad... *They held a full size American Flag, and waved it over the traffic... This morning.. Two families!
