All,
Bit of a praise report.
This past Sunday morning area Dent County churches took up a special
offering to be sent to the Red Cross. Five churches took up the offering. My
church took up an offering of $16,000. The total offering came to $54,000.
This is not the half of it.
The other half is we made a deal with H&R Block.
H&R Block said they would match us per thousand given.
In all we will be sending the Red Cross about $108,000.
I had to miss out on this as I was at Fall Trace. Still though not to bad
for one Sunday morning.
