I found myself praying this weekend what occurred to me was a strange
prayer. I found myself praying that if indeed we end up going to war that
our frontlines would be made up of blood bought Christians. Why? Because I
don't want the guilt of lost souls left at the feet of this nation's
believers. I have felt impressed to pray this many times. I have wondered
Lord is this of you? I just can't help but think if we send unsaved
soldiers over there that their everlasting life's blood is on our hands. I
don't want that shame or that responsibility.

I didn't sit and think this up, it was something that came as I was praying.
I also, I admit selfishly, thanked God that my son was only 11 years old,
but I also am thankful that I know if he were of age he and he was killed in
action that he would be assured his rightful place in heaven.

I know my son wants to be on the front lines, both in spiritual and the
natural. He has said for a while that he wants to be a policeman. He has
asked me if I would be afraid if he was. I told him no I would just spend a
lot more time on my knees. At church all he ever wants is to be a servant.
He has been able to work for us behind the scenes as he is thought to be to
young to be in front of everyone and our leader doesn't want him rebuked
and wounded. Last week he got the official go ahead. When he turns 12 he
moves to the front lines, has to get a suit attend all meetings and
functions. He is so excited.

So I pray that even if eventually one day it is my son that is chosen, that
we have Christians in the front. I would rather have their blood than any
other buy my freedom, after all look at the Blood that bought my spiritual
freedom, he went in front of us all!
