I'm working as the adult advisor to the youngest group
of boys and we have a big horseback campout this weekend.

We have also been real busy with courts of honor and fall
start up, elections and have new Patrol leaders..

There's lot's of good reasons for a youg 11 year old to fail
at planning, and expect someone else to figure things out<G>
I "heard" through the leader grapevine that the boys of the
Viking patrol were not clear on who was doing what<G>...

So I called...

*Hello.. this is Mr.Wheeler of Troop328

One of my jobs is advisor to the Viking patrol.. and Luke
was elected patrol leader recently. I'm wondering how he is
doing with food/gear planning for the patrol?

Hello Mr.Wheeler, this is Lukes DAD.. and he understands
the following- He has a Dinner Sat.night, and breckfast
Sunday followed by a lunch to facilitate.

"That's good, Does he have the same phone list that I have
here before me? Is there any questions he might have as to
aquireing gear or about the campsight? Let him know, that
he should keep the menu as simple as possible<G> "

(*small background conversation 'tween Luke and DAD<G>)

"Thanks for the call Mr.Wheeler and we have your number if further
questions arise.. Luke and his patrol will be prepared.."

*Great! It's going to be a good time..

Talk to you later, bye!
