Janet et al,
Dump pie filling in the bottom of the Dutch Oven
(line it with foil if you do not want a mess). Use two cans, mix flavors if you
like.
Pour un-mixed (from the box) cake mix on top of the
filling (I like the small boxes of Jiffy Yellow Cake mix). Two
boxes.
Butter or margarine in small amounts place on top
the cake mix.
Coals - depends on the size of the Dutch oven. # 10
put 10 coals on top and 3-4 underneath. # 12 put 12 on top and 4-5
underneath.
Bake 15-25 minutes or when golden brown on
top.
