God loves "gay" people and other sinners!

God hates homosexual sin and all other sin, as well. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to get this distinction right? Love the sinner. Hate the sin.

Do you know what I did the last time I laid hands on someone who was diagnosed with AIDS? I prayed for him, and the disease symptoms left him. Praise God! Yes, he got AIDS through sin, but he has long since repented, and that is under the blood of Jesus Christ.

Is AIDS A Disease That God Sent To Punish Immoral People?
by Eastman Curtis

Let's set the record straight. AIDS is not a punishment sent by God for those He may deem as immoral. Sickness and disease are tools the enemy uses to destroy people. Unfortunately, he often convinces them to blame God for their tragedy. But nothing could be further from the truth.

"Don't overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day. God isn't late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn't want anyone lost. He's giving everyone space and time to change" (2 Peter 3:8,9 The Message).

God is a good God, and He wants more than anything for His people to experience a life free from the curse of the law, including the curse of sickness and death. In fact, Second Peter 3:9 says that it isn't God's will for anybody to perish. His desire is that all would come to Him with a repentant heart before it is too late. Nothing, not even a deadly disease such as AIDS, is too impossible for God to work through.
