Yeah but that is getting the carriage before the horse or so I was told. The Council is supposed to come first and then the Commanders. We have tried to get council men to step forward and I had a few men but they mostly never took any inititave. "Call me when you need something" only put more work on me. Most of the time it was easier just to do it myself than to try and coordinate other peoples time. I did manage to get some small jobs done by one of the guys who was the most faithful. I know I'm ranting and a bit negative and anyone who flames me on this is just as negative. That is the way I feel about the council and I know that it is only my opinion-right now. We have had a council that did work many years ago but we also had a pastor on staff who was a RR Commander too. That seemed to make a bigger difference-someone who really goes to bat for the outpost. The old saying about it coming from the top down. If the pastor steps in and sets one up then it flys a whole lot better. thanks for letting me spout, Bob Simons
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
