I have seen quite a few requests come 'round the fire, so let me add yet another request (actually 2).
I have a situation that I have been struggling against for a very long time. I won't voice what it is, for God knows, but I would ask prayer for strengthening against the situation. I know that it is not Godly, and that it grieves the Spirit, but have been trying to deal with it on my own. A few evenings, I fell yet again, and afterwards, just told God that I was at the end of my rope (probably the best place to be). I turned it over to him and am expecting and in need of Divine Delivery. Please hold this up in prayer, as I really need and covet your prayer. #2 - We had a new boy in Rangers last night. He is a student at the school my wife teaches at, and comes from a broken and somewhat dysfunctional home. He liked Rangers, and said that he will be coming every meeting. I go straight from work to Rangers, so my wife brought him home from school, fed him, and brought him to Rangers. During the evening prior to leaving for church, my wife asked Josh how much help (in terms of moral support and guidance) he would like her to give him. His reply was "A Lot.". This boy is needing and wanting something other than what he has, but he is worldly raised and trained, and somewhat rough around the edges. Please hold Josh up in prayer. Thx.
