Whose report will you believe?Very often in our circumstances, we will come to a place of testing, in which things do not seem to be in alignment with the promises that God has made. But because these are times of testing, we have to keep our eyes on Jesus, and our minds fixed on the Word of the Lord, knowing that He is not a man that He should lie. God is incapable of lies. There is a real live devil, and he has many demons, and they are constantly being assigned to torment and terrorize the people of God. Remember, Jesus told Simon Peter, that satan desires to sift him (us) as wheat, but that He has prayed that he (we) would overcome. (Study how wheat is sifted by farmers.) But it is not their right to do so. Unless we give them the right. ("Neither give place to the devil." Ephesians 4:27) Jesus won the Victory for us at the cross, and we have been given ALL power, dominion, and authority over satan and his cohorts, and infact we have been given authority over everything in and on the earth, through Christ. But, if satan can convince you that he does have the right, then you will live a defeated Christian Life. The key is to walk in the Truth. Alot of defeated Christian walks are due to either false teaching, or NO teaching. You are a Soldier of the Cross. Do not depend solely on the teaching of others. You must spend time in the Word and spend time alone with the Holy Spirit for yourself. The Word of God tells us in the book of John 16:13, that the Holy Spirit will lead you and guide you into ALL TRUTH, that He will reveal Christ to you and show you things to come. The Word of God also tells us in Joshua 1:8 to meditate on His Word, day and night, that if we will do according to that which He has written, you will be made prosperous and have good success. Jesus won the Victory at Calvary, and He has given you the power, through faith, by believing in His name, to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and to cast out demons. Do you believe?
2 Chronicles 20:20- "....... Believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established; believe His prophets, so shall you prosper.
Isaiah 7:9- "....If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established."
Matthew 8:13- ".....Go your way, and as you have believed, so be it done to you."
Mark 9:23- " If you can believe, ALL things are possible to him that believes."
Mark 11:24-"Therefore I say to you, what things you so desire, when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you shall have them."
Luke 1:45-" And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told to her from the Lord."
Luke 12:29-"And seek not what you will eat, or what you will drink, Neither Be of a Doubtful Mind."
John 1:12-"But as many as received Him to them gave He gave the Power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."
John 6:35- "...... I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes in me shall never thirst."
Romans 4:20-21- " He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that what He had promised, He was also able to perform."
Romans 10:10- "For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Be careful what you speak, let the promises of God be spoken from your lips, not the curses of the devil!
Hebrews 3:12-" Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the Living God."
Hebrews 3:18-19 - " And to whom sware He that they should not enter into His rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief."
Hebrews 4:3a- "For we which have believed do enter into rest......"
Hebrews 4:6- " Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief."
Revelation 21:7-8 - " He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, ........ shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
