In about 2 and a half weeks, I'm planning to make a trip to Papua New Guinea at the
request of my missions director. The purpose of the trip is to arrange for my family
and I to move there, and to make some arrangements for cooperation between Wycliffe
Bible Translators and Evangel Bible Translators. I believe that this is a very good
thing, and another step towards getting the Word of God to more people who don't yet
have it in their language. This is the first international "business" trip that I have
been sent on where I am tasked with raising the money to go (over US$3000, unless I
find some real bargains). Not only that, but we need to find more partners who will
pray for us regularly and send us money regularly (through Evangel Bible Translators)
so that we can afford to move the whole family over there and STAY there. Because of
that, I'm offering you, my RangerNet friends, an opportunity to help out and become
