Commander Duane here- Excellent tracking skills! You show great promise as a wilderness man in finding your way with the resources God gives you. I am so happy to hear from you. Not all the boys of OP207 are so vigilant as you. *I think you are special. I remember many good times, like when we shared a Tipi in a pounding winter rain storm, and you taught me your version of the Ranger emblem.. 4 red candywhipps.. 4 gold Butterfinger bars and 8 blue powerbars.<G> I showed everyone how NOT to light a fire with fuel<G> Wow! ..but we shure slept warm that night<G> We also went on a short backpack trip to Squoxion Creek, and did you go with us to the Civil War re-enactment? CHARGE! If you remember, OP207 shut down for the summer.. so we went over to OP354 and went to Powwow/Ranger Camp... Josh earned the GMA about then, and OP354 shut down.. *Bummer! The good news is that we were also members of a Scout troop, so that is where we hang our Buckskins now<G> GT Church was close to you in Camas,Wa but it was a long haul for me and Cdr.Jennifer, so for that reason and others we started going to New Heights Church over by our house. *Here's the hard part for you to understand... When they shut down OP207, the desire was that you as a Trailblazer would join in the Youth department. I understand why that might have been reasonible, but also know that You, Josh,Ryan didn't want that. I happen to love Royal Rangers, but I could not sit in the pew and be: "The Man who used to be a Royal Ranger"... I prayed about that and left the Outpost in the hands of people that promised to care for it. There is a part of Cdr.Duane that likes to fight it out<G> There's a part of Justin Rash that likes to use up all the whipp-cream on his sunday, not leaveing much<G> Both of these characterestics in us need to mature<G> *So.. That is what I a praying for! I am praying that you will become the Man that God desires, and so I pray that God will make me in his time, that man as well.
