Hello Ranger Friends; Greetings, peace, and so forth. This year was a particularly good one. I have had the great pleasure of seeing much accomplished for God's Kingdom through the ministry we share. Many opportunities have been afforded to me, for which I am grateful, though I can by no means claim to have taken full advantage of them all (no, not by a long shot), nor to have attained the full potential which they bore; but I am nevertheless thankful, and pledge to attempt all the more to make the best of each and every one that comes my way. To this end I find myself (and others as well, I observe), in a reflective mood as I look back upon the year soon to be past and it's accomplishments. And I find myself especially thankful for the great mercy which God had shown me, and for His protecting hand upon myself and my family, for Connie and I have seen no less than four of our friends, all our age or younger, leave this life over the last year. Of these four, at least two, probably three, were at least partially attributable to illicit drug use. All four have left behind young children, many of whom are or have been in Rangers. Please pray with me for these children, especially the Donaldson boys, who lost both parents within the last year, on separate occasions. Work has begun to pick up again, after slowing down some after the events of Sept. 11th. As things slowed I had to sign on with another outfit to keep busy, and now between the two I can't keep up. Seeing as how I have all this money to make, I have deemed it necessary to make a return to Ebay, though for now I shall do so under an assumed name. To the first person who can identify me there: lunch is on me. It shouldn't be too hard. This year Connie and I were able to travel together more than ever before, even though I traveled more with Rangers than I ever had, as well. Two weeks before the WTC towers were knocked down, Connie and I were able to visit NY and view the NYC skyline from the obsevation level of World Trade Center Tower Two. We attended a Territorial Rendevous together with our kids, and drove through two mountain ranges- the Rockies and the Ozarks. Also, we had the unique experience of being part of an Alien Medical Experiment, as we were driving across the Texas Panhandle. While we were traveling down hwy 287, about 1 a.m., a huge light appeared, and the truck died. We were transported up into a big ship, and endured various rigorous tests and experiments. Connie came back relatively unchanged, for the most part; while I returned feeling younger, fitter, and much better looking. I firmly believe that we do not have much time left to reach as many boys for Christ as possible. I also believe that the greatest opportunities to do so are just ahead. Furthermore, I am convinced that we are about to be given the greatest tools to do so that we have ever had. Friends, there are many anti-christs and false prophets out there now. Many people will be fooled by them. Many will trade thier faith for a thing that shines; for something that feels right, looks right, sounds right. Don't buy anything that doesn't agree 100% with God's Word. Pray hard, pray often. Your friend, Clint "Tinker" Grant Get more from the Web. FREE MSN Explorer download : http://explorer.msn.com |
