If yah take a '69 5 speed tranny from a Porsche 911 and mate it to a '73 914 type 4 engine.. I discovered it will bolt right up, however.. forget trying to use a VW bus throw-out bearing<G> Project is on hold awaiting parts<G> *Last night New Years we had a interesting event with a neighbor backside of Rancho deluxe.. Seemes the feller who is slick bald with a big gold ring in the ear and likes to wear black, also like to beat his wife. The wife called 911 and the "perp" busted out a bedroom window and ran... We live behind, and now I have a busted fence from 2 dozen SWAT TEAM members hunting the man down. The sherrif told me to light up the yard and lock the doors, so Cdr.Jen, Josh GMA#3911 and myself held a prayer for safety, then loaded up the 12guage riot gun, and 9mm handgun just to be "ready for anything".. All night the dogs searched the surrounding yards and farm land. No after action report, they are gone.. so we are still on guard.. New years eve in America is a free fire zone for loud booms and left over fireworks.. It's disturbing to sit there wondering if the "pop-pop-pop" outside in the driveway should concern you<G> It did<G> Thanks Clark County Sherrif, and Vancouver special responce team..
