Boy It's great to have interested MOM's working with the Scouts in T328!
Even on the campouts their presence makes me feel like the secure familyman that I am. *Cdr.Jennifer has a talent for nature study. Me.. *I'm a bull in a china shop, but Cdr.Jen has the ability to take boys out and sit in a field *silently listening to the forest.. The men leaders do all the Adult cooking ect. and she enjoys that.. as weel as being included in watching her son act in ways that she might not have gotten the chance to see in her home relationship. All of the camps don't seem to conflict with the Men working with the boys or with the boys going to Scoutmaster as well as "Mrs Wheeler" because they all know that.. *progress in advancement is their responsibility, and not the duty of a Adult. Mrs. Wheeler camps with me in our dome tent or with another female leader, and that just has not created any "problems" with the boys.. That makes sence.. for while a Olympic event may be labled "Men's downhill" or "Ladies Luge" the end result is Honor to all Olympic athletes in measured activities. The "worth" of the Gold medals are equal.
