Thanks Kelly. yes I read that verse many times this week. I printed it out
in big letters and posted on the wall in her Hosp. room for all to see.
Funny thing was even though it was a Catholic hosp. only one nurse/aid
commented on the verse and said it was her favorite. It is called St. Joes.
Well she came home today-we checked out at 7:10 PM which meant RR had
already started without me. She was supposed to check out by early
afternoon but they did a bone scan and then said that we were going to x-ray
her ribs. I don't know what they found and they wouldn't tell me but I could
tell it wasn't good. As we waited in the corrider I told her that Rangers
all around the world were praying for her-even Russia.
We both cried right there. I'm not sure if was from sorrow or joy that the
saints were praying.
I was determined to go to Rangers and good thing I did because 2 commanders
were absent. My Jr. Commander was looking kinda stressed with Pioneers and
TB's together. I immediately told them to grab their Bibles and we did a
sword drill. They loved it. I also showed them some brand new Ranger New
Testaments and told them they could earn them by memorizing the 5 key verses
in the back of the Testament.
Then as we all met in the large room I read the boys the birdcage story and
asked if any would like to receive Jesus and His free gift and 3 hands went
up. I led the whole group through the sinners prayer and knew that God was
still in charge. Sure made my day.
