All, I wanted to share about one of the boys in my section. Phillip Sharp. Phil is a Trailblazer, 14 years old who came down with a case of Myocarditis. This is an inflammation of the heart and his heart had swollen. There is a very big and substantial danger with this as not everyone lives through it and those who do need a heart transplant sooner if not later. Phillip had this operation on 2-1-02 and it took 4 hours at the University of Virginia. Please be praying for Phillip. I don't know this young man personally but the reports that have been coming back on him are fantastic. He has a real will to live and the Lord has His hand on him. This operation has really put the Sharp Family through some very difficult times, emotionally, financially. What operation wouldn't do that? Please pray for Phillip. I would like to ask that perhaps if it wouldn't be much if we, our international community of Rangers here if we could send Phillip a get well card telling him who you are and where you are from (town, Outpost # and District) and let him know that you and your outpost are praying for him. This young man is a testimony to God's Glory because he is still with us after all of that. Please send Phillip a get well card.
