Got a kick out of  words written by someone, who in effect wrote, "If life deals you a lemon, you can get sour, or make lemonade". Maybe that quote can be perfected by the writer, who typed this only a day or two ago. I love reading those kinds of encouragement. And I love receiving devotions that might impact kids I can reach.............especially kids.......in todays world we all need all the help we can get, but especially the kids. It'd be nice to take them back to the way things once were in this old world. But then again, God has something so much better. And besides, they were created for such a time as this.
Enough rambling.......hope this repeat helps someone. Especially if they want to reach someone's kids.

EAGLES IN A STORM
Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it  breaks?  The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.  The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher.  It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
When the storms of life come upon us -- and all of us will experience them-- we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God.  The storms do not have to overcome us.  We can allow God's power to lift us above them. God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives.
We can soar above the storm.  Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.
The Bible says, "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles."  Isaiah 40:31
Take 60 seconds & give this a shot!
1) Simply say a small prayer for the person who sent you this,
2) Then send it on to five other people.  Within hours, five people have prayed for you, and you caused a multitude of people to pray to God for other people.
Then sit back and watch the power of God work in your life for doing the thing that you know He loves.
