Fred, Janet is down Houston way and I and my husband are up here in
Dallas,
which are you closer to? You have so far been quite a blessing to me and
so
far you also know how to hold your own on the Rangernet. I am one of the

female trouble makers, Kelly Gist aka Chief Flaming Hair I have been both
a
SA and Buck commander, my husband works with Pioneers and Bucks.

Pleased to make your acquaintance!

Kelly

Hi Janet,
Thanks for the warm welcome to Rangernet and great compliment.
Being a blessing is probably my favorite goal! I'm in Naples, TX, which
is about 2 1/2 hrs. from Dallas. If you look on the map, between
Mt.Pleasant and Texarkana, but only 16 mi. from Mt. Pleasant on hwy. 67
(maybe with a magnifying glass), you'll see where we are. My wife and I
are originally from W. Texas, Outpost 48 - S.A. Commanders in Odessa.
However, we've been here for the last 17 years.
We're part of the N. Texas District here, so we've possibly
crossed paths with ya'll at the Pow-Wow, or some training time in
Maypearl, correct? It'd be so cool to run into ya'll this year.
It may be the highest compliment I've received so far, that you
think I'm holding my own here in the Rangernet. Especially with such
hooligans as Bob in here. : ^ )) But, you see, I've been married to my
Flaming (red) Haired wife for 20 years as of the 20th of this month. If
the hair color is something my wife might have in common with you, Kelly,
you can understand how my charred skin has gotten somewhat thick. But
now, having learned the Ranger trick of wearing asbestos armor, (thanks
to ?), I feel like my Marine son, who say's he isn't afraid of anything
but God.!
Tell your hubby, I envy him. I am convinced that since my shift
work keeps me out of too many Outpost meetings that I'd do well to hand
the reigns of my Pioneer group to a Commander who has recently stepped up
to the plate. The boys need a full time Commander, so I'll swallow that
lump in my throat and just settle for doing the Senior Commander thing,
and a few devotions, helping where needed, etc..
Well, anyway, before I start blubbering all over myself
here.......nice to meet ya, Kelly! The pleasures all mine, I'm sure.

Blessings,

      Fred
