Haven't posted in a while, just wanted to ask for prayers, my son and I completed Phase I last Thursday and are headed to Phase II the weekend of the 19th. Now I know these fine FCF men would never do anything sneeky, (grin, grin) but they sure do snicker alot when ever Phase II is mentioned. :o)
Phase I was fun and challenging and we really are looking forward to Phase II. Phase I caused a roll reversal at our home, being a Straight Arrow/Buckaroo Commander, my son really had to brush me up on lashing, tool craft, rope craft, compass etc. etc. Now I almost feel like a real Commander. We both did fine (whew) While every ones reading just want to brag, My son Devin was our Outpost ROTY, he won Seciotn and than went on and won District. I'm very proud of him, great kid. He now stands among the many fine yopung men we have in the Paiute Section. Wish you all well, thanks for all the great postings.
