First of all I want to thank you all for your replies to my post.  I would like to clarify my position just incase some of you commanders got the wrong idea about the actual point I was trying to make regarding the apperance of the the new Ranger Kids uniform on women.  First of all (as I mentioned in my post) I have nothing against women wearing pants, I was just trying to say that THOSE particular pants don't look very feminine.  I want to thank Kelly Gist for her reply, it helped me look at the skirt problem in a whole new light (I never knew you women had such problem with those RR skirts).  Pants would seem to be more comfortable when working with such young kids especially during campouts, like when you have to run after them.   I do believe though that there should be at least some distinction between the male Ranger Kids uniform and the female Ranger Kids uniform.  However I do agree with you, EagleDad,  women can and should be allowed to wear "what they feel best suits them."  Which is also why I was glad to be given that information by Jonathan about women, in the new program, being given the choice between wearing skirts, culottes, or pants with their Class B uniforms, skirts or pants with their Class A uniforms.  I know many female commanders will be happy with these new changes, since I know some women who perfer to wear skirts and some who wished they could wear pants in the Royal Ranger program.  I just freaked out because I though that ALL women who wanted to be Ranger Kids commanders were going to have to dress exactly like that picture and once again I know women who would not have liked that, but like commander Trower pointed out that wasn't a clear photograph, who know probably when I see the real cover of that book I'll say that it doesn't look that bad.  I should and will wait until the new program comes in before making any more observations and (constructive) criticism, lest I make a "mountian out of a mole hill" again.  Once again thank you for your replies and God Bless you all!
