Dear Kelvin,
No the Khaki uniform style will stay the same, we will be wearing a US flag
with silver edge,
No more service stars or bars on cuffs, no more 1st Aid badge, but I
believe the patrol patch may stay on the boys uniforms. only the name
changes above pockets to Ranger Kids, Adventurers, Etc.
The placement of merits will be on the new "VEST" if you want to go that
route. Our Outpost wants to stay with a full uniform, and when we get a
merit, our Colored ribbon merit for each area, such as green, blues, reds
will have a number in the middle the ribbon to signifiy how many they got.
Very similar to a leaders Commander merit. When he earns this award four
times in a row, the same merit has a 4 on it. Understand???
Also, there is new leadership areas for boys in the new program, one of then
is called "Quartermaster". So I assume that we will have a patch for that to
be placed on the uniform below our #'s
