We have a tool to reach others and that is the full uniform and as Rangers we should try to work with what we have and not just complain. Today AZ South Section had a Day Camp, I stop at a Jack-In-The-Box in uniform, the lady behind the counter asked me if I was a Boy Scout leader and I spoke to her about Ranger. Yes I did have the USA Flag of my uniform and the under the Ranger Emblem our "Christian Flag" after tell her we teach boys using the Gold points she said she will be at our church tomorrow and she wants me to meet her two sons. I think sometimes we, myself included, get to wrapped up in the little things. Yes I was late to the church because I took the time but the boys and parents did not mind. Do not get me wrong, uniform changes are needed from time to time. Like the changes we just had in the uniform for the God sent women that work beside us in Rangers. But there are ways to get thing changed. If we just complain and/or argue maybe even change the things because we do not like it and want to do it other way. What are we telling our boys? There is ways to get things changed. When at the National Council in March the floor was open and nothing was bought up about any other uniform changes. Last year from the floor other commanders and myself asked about Ranger books in Spanish and now the books are being written in English and Spanish and I am praying they will be out soon. So if we want a change use your chain of command it does work. This is not a flaming, I just thought we all need to work together. In His Service Commander Kevin Get more from the Web.
