Well.. Interesting that you sould want to know<G>
You see, he was a LONG TIME Ranger and was our sectional
Commander when this happened. He jumped into the new "thing"
with both feet, convinced he was onto the next wave of spiritual
warfare and profetic understanding.
*Suddenly his "blinders" were off and the gold braid on the American
flag represented a sham state of "Admirilty law" suplanting the
founding fathers desires for a true republic of "soverns"..
This man served a "higher authority"...
Tax time came and went and it wasn't a big deal, but this feller
took it as a personal liberation of citizenship duties, and proof that
his cell group had discoved the biggest loop hole of all time and
we could turn back the clock to a pre-American state and hold ground
as a "Christian Homeland"..
Then He stood up at the Royal Ranger distric advisory session and
spouted off his "beliefs" that we christians were without spine..
"We need to get off our duffs and do something!"
"America has been stolen from our hands, Murder is now the law,
and we must resist" He beleved, he had no accountibility to any
Law but frountier law's of pre-state formation. As a 'sovern he
felt that only he could give alliegence, by choice.. and now that
he was "informed of his true God given rights" he refused.. to
bow his head to "Babalyon"<G>
*This got Dist.Commander upset.
"You seem serious about not saying the Pledge of Alliegence to the
American flag? ..Is that right?"
*"Affirmitive- (and 29 mins of futher wacky verbage/logic)"
Dist. Cdr. came down south and called a meeting with every Ranger
Leader in the section, he thanked the man for his service, and
gave him a nice award.. then dismissed him. He was forbidden to
ever hold any Ranger position outside of the local "sovern" church
and a letter was being placed in the AoG dist. file encourageing
anyone who inquired to not approve his service with youth.
The man stood, and gave a heart wrenching swan song...
"He shared what Jesus had saved him from and how clean and pure
he felt when he first knew he was tuly saved.."
Later, the man was stopped on the hyway,and refused to give the
Officer his licence, or identify himself as he was a "sovern" and
did not agree that the officer had jurisdiction over him.
The Police officer wrote him a citation, and the man refused
to attend the court date. He went to the Courthouse and posted
a notice on the buliten board that he was a "sovern" and to
back off on his case or he'd file a "Tar-baby suit" and gum up
the courts for 20 years!
This got the attention of the District Attourney and the Newspaper.
His car was confiscated, his address and situation was turned
over to the IRS for past non-payment of Taxes, and the last we
heard he had sold or abandoned his home and left for Mexico where
he got employment working as a welder.
