I can't wait to meet Bibleman, either. Oh, wait, I already did! We went to
a live show the other night and it was phenomenal! There was an altar call,
and Bibleman explains why he gives one and encourages young children (some
might say "little bitty kids") to come forward. It relates to his own
personal testimony, and that is all I'm gonna say about that.

What I really appreciated was after the show, he and his sidekick signed
autographs for the kids and adults. Some stood in line for over two hours
(I know, we were some of them. We drove an hour for the show and would not
have another opportunity like this. It was worth it for us and my boys.)
After all they had done all day and after doing an exhausting show, they
waited until the last person had gotten their opportunity to meet them. And
they were HUMBLE!! In a situation where most other "stars" would have left
after an hour (maybe) they were thanking us for waiting so long. I, in
turn, thanked them for staying and for their ministry. They allowed anyone
with a camera to take pictures, (even though they weren't in their costumes
at this time) they chatted with the last of the crowd the same as they did
with the beginning of the crowd, and there were lots of people!

We had bought my son's "combat manual" that night. On the presentation
page, it is much like a Bible's. It has a space for a To:, a From:, and a
date. Willie Ames turned to this page and signed the To David and the From
Bibleman. My son was thrilled! An experience for his memory banks, to say
the least.

It was refreshing to see people involved in this type of ministry for the
children and to stay so late for the children. Not everyone would do it.

So, yes, the little child in me had a wonderful time. The Dad in me was
appreciative, I wouldn't have to drive for an hour with some disappointed
boys, and I was refreshed by the spirit of these two "superheros" of God.

In His Grip,

DJ
