I am 500 yrs old. That does not necessarily make me wise, but here's my 2
cent's (worth $10 buckis at least).

When you feel the prompting of the Holy Spirit to give a word, you certainly
have the right to choose whether or not to obey. I have done both. When I
feel this burning, I pray that God make me mute at that moment if I am not
the one to give it. It works every time. Sometimes you are just to be the
confirmation for someone else. But when I chose to not obey, I missed out on
that thrilling feeling that comes after. It is kind of like you first real
kiss.

God doesn't want half heartedness or reluctance, He would like your freely
given obedience. I'd say now I'll get off the soapbox, but since the stroke,
I can't get
ON it! ha janet
