Theoretically it already was supposed to be that. That was how I perceived the instruction at NTC and LTC. Now the trick is and it's almost sad that so many people try to throw a uniform together and it's just that, thrown together, no time or consideration gets taken as to the proper placement of each little do dad that goes on it.  Emblem goes on left shoulder 1/2 inch from seam, District Strip Right Shoulder, also 1/2 inch from seam numbers line up touching the bottom corners of District strip. In the instance of single or double numbers, it is lined up and centered to be level with the corners of the District strip. Our numbers are blue and gold, not red and white. They go on the right shoulder not the left.  American Red Cross patch has been officially unauthorized and is no longer worn on left sleeve under RR emblem. First aid patch is worn 1/2 inch from left cuff.  Irish pennants get clipped.  It's all in the book. Granted 1/2 of the books diagrams were not correct, but the info for the most part was right.
I have seen so many uniforms that look like slop it's not funny. They look really bad, like no one really cared about it.  The information for the proper usage is there. It is an excuse and nothing but an excuse for anyone to say "I didn't have the information."  Call it for what it is. Especially if they have the books. If they don't have the books, give them one so they can't give you the excuse to look like a slob. There is no justification for that. We represent Christ. We are his chosen people and I don't think He intended us to represent the Royal slobs. Look sharp and professional , mean business, do well at what you do. This will gain the interest of others and build your outpost. Your appearance will help your credibility and make what you are doing look very worthwhile.
If you look like a slob, don't take any time with the detail, would you give to something like that?  probably not. I wouldn't waste my time with it because it shows me that the people are not serious about what they are doing.

Just my opinion on it.

Subject: [RR] Uniform Question

All,
Do you think it should be a set standard that all your leaders be in uniform at the outpost meeting?
