*Of course it's a Popular phrase, just like the one you quote.. Un-fortunatly, the outcome gererated is likely not one of submission to authority as intended, but damage to relationships in the future.
the Bible said- "Train up a child in the way he should go.. ect." The intention is to bridge chasums, not build distance between fathers and sons.. We do that with LOVE!
