Hey Gang
There's a major
new virus around called Klez, which e-mails itself to
any address it finds on your computer (address book,
internet cache, etc.), and can pretend to have been
sent from any of those addresses. You won't necessarily
know you've got it, as depending on your e-mail setup,
merely previewing an infected e-mail can contaminate
your PC. Given that my site gets quite a lot of
traffic, my in-box is being bombarded with copies of
this, which is a hassle. PLEASE, everyone, and I mean
EVERYONE, get a virus checker - they're cheap, easy to
use, and can run in the background without you ever
having to worry again. I personally use Norton
AntiVirus, which does a great job, including checking
any e-mails for viruses before they get as far as my
PC. There's no good reason not to get one, and it saves
everyone stressing!
