Today is the one day a week I am allowed to be home alone. We are
experimenting and, so far, I've done ok.
I was watching 700 club and that Brother Reinhardt was being interviewed.
He
has been evangelizing Africa for years. You see and feel his passion as he
speaks. Nine MILLION souls came to know Jesus within 25 days! Amazing.
Then I remembered how passionate I felt about the Gospel and the ministry in
days gone by. Then came the illnesses and life in general and suddenly I am
old and crippled by a stroke.
Oh, I hope I have pleased the Lord in my time. I remeber the story where
the
prophet and his students were building a Bible school and one lost his
borrowed ax head. The prophet told him to go back to where he last
remembered seeing it. They did this and it was established that it fell in
the water. They prayed AND THE AX HEAD FLOATED TO THE TOP!
I am saying this to you; go back to your first love. Back to where it was
fresh. Do it with your spouse, your kids, with Jesus, and with rangers.
Get that excitement and passion back. You won't be sorry. I love you all.
