Yes it is. I have many ties and family in Hawaii. I lived on the Big Island for 4 years. The Lehua blossom is the Islands flower.  It is a beautiful deep red flower of the 'ohio tree that only grows where there has been a volcano flow. Her name means "Lehua lei of Heaven".
