*I need to expand on this a little to "Co-municate"... I can't take my eyes off the Stude' for it's uglyness.. everything about it is off the map for repair parts and such. That said.. while *I COULD own it.. I'm just as happy not too<G> (Got plenny cool stuff in the barn allready-) I'm going "ape-y" Because the Studebaker motor company don't exist since the 1960'd and a bone stock flathead is just plain acient.. No doubt metal fatigue,rust and decay have set it.. I suppose a Ford Model "T" is older,and more collectable.. *But the days of pulling one out of a barn or field is LONG GONE! I suppose I could swap parts off another dead '46 like a vulture<G> but sitting there.. out by my mailbox it smacks of time long lost. These "questions make me chuckle" to think about: 1946 in general- Who bought it new.. and what did it look like then<G> Where has this truck been in it's life? I wnat to know it's adventures... What job did it do day in and day out in it's prime? What caused it to get parked in that Orchard? *And of course..
