Congratulations A#1 to your 50th .
I've gotten to know you while walking the cyber path and it is my great wish
to walk with you down some wilderness path.
Hopefully bee-fore we all meet at the Great Council Fire with Master
Ranger.
Your heart that you have for the boys revealed to me the Christ-like
concern to get "them" all into the fold.
I can just see you taking Cdr. Jen down the acres of Rancho de Luxe to
admire the A#1 art collection.
God bless you real good on your great day.

So A#1 turns 50 on Sunday September 22nd and he says to me over dinner, " I
am 50 so what have I accomplished so far in life? (a tinge of reflection in
his voice).
No too uncommon a question to ask at mid-life, I say to myself.
Well I say, (to encourage him), you married and have stayed married to me
for 25 years to someone who still loves and respects you. You have a
wonderful son who has earned the GMA and Eagle Scout and more importantly...
loves and respects you. You own a nice home, and have luxuries more that one
should expect... (like that Porche you bought on EBAY)!
You have friends around the world that love and respect you.
All one can expect when ones leaves this planet is to take that what they
have on earth that can not rust or tarnish - Love and Repect. You will ve
known in eternity as you have been known on earth. Someone that is loved and
respected. That you have. So at 50 you have done well!
Happy Birhtday Duane - A#1 !
your wife and still best friend,
Cmdr Jen
