[RR] RUSS Virus

Everyone,    I can verify the Virus was W32.KLEG & it affected 100 of my 100,000 files.  THis new computer being new to me I felt very helpless & very frusterated.  At first I couldn't believe that I got this from Ranger-Net (much less from a RR Commander).  Then I realized that he probably didn't even know he had it on his computer.  I got it Thursday & it went through my Norton AntiVirus (It automatucally updates itself).  I just got my computer back to normal.  It wasn't anything I did, I guess God helped my dumbness to accidently stumble on the safe mode & restore commands.  I had to RESTORE it twice as my Internet connection was working after the first RESTORE.  It saved me from taking it back to Best Buy & calling Hp.  I did learn how unhelpful * confusing Internet help is.   How did it get by my Norton Antivirus?  How can we know which RUSS E-Mails to open?  How do I know if my Norton is updating weekly?   Later,   Commander Marvin       (Outpost 130)
