Well ladies and gentlemen, I do believe Hannibal,MO has done it. On Oct 18-20 the Hannibal Arts Council will be hosting their annual Fall Folklife Festival. So, our Sr. Cmdr. & Pastor went to city hall to fight for us and WON! Outpost 17 along with some of the FCF guys from the district will be setting up a FCF Village and a "Model Ranger Campsite". This will be for pure outreach potential. The Folklife Festival showcases arts and crafts and foods that might be available pre-1900. Not bad for "America's Hometown" Home of Mark Twain. If any of you'all can visit it would be great fun for the whole family. We have a small stretch of land where the old river bridge approach was and that's where we will be setting up. When people drive in to enter the Fall Festival we will be the first thing they see. Cool, huh?!?
