Well,

Several people seemed excited to hear from me again.
Good to be in touch with everyone.
Been inactive for a good while as we tried to put the family life back together again.
God is faithful (as always) and we are in a new church and outpost where everything is "laid back" and the vision is that what is preached on Sunday can be walked out on Monday- Saturday. The whole church is in a trailer, we put it together every Sunday morning in a school auditorium- speakers, sound board, PowerPoint projector, praise band equipment, etc.- all in modular cabinets that load into the trailer and are hauled home on a rotating basis (even the foliage that gives the platform "ambience").

As for "burnin heart" , he's hoping to take over the Challengers/Expedition group after the first of the year. I have a real good relationship with the youth pastor (he calls me "pop")and I'm going to try to co-ordinate some stuff with the youth.
First thinking to go to the local Rock Gym in Williamsburg for an all-nighter - climbing classes and pizza for about $20-$25 bucks a head.
Anyway, am excited about the challenges facing me and Rangers and KNOW God is taking us where no-one has gone before (let's go Boldly!!)

Lastly, keep me in prayer as I prepare to take my Wilderness Vigil later next year.

For God and God alone,
